You can see the Hotel La Salle as a sort of European and American crossover, between the Louisiana Blues and the jazzy things, the rock, the funky and the rhythm’n blues, a band that can develop a personal creative vein in a common inspiration as they usually do during the live concerts.
In fact it is mostly during concerts that they give their best, an aggressive and exciting rhythm along with some pearls of “blues feeling”. After three years, the Hotel La sale experienced a big change: the old harmonica player went away and a new drummer came: Capello. This new course gave immediately birth to a demo called “ Back to the electric trio” which means a return to a traditional form of a blues and rock group: the “power trio”.

A “trio” group is a very dangerous form, it can show all values and all faults, but surely this is the right formulation of the band that has been defined as “the best italian new group” by the Pontinia Blues Festival, in 1994 During the “Back to the electric trio” tour, they also attended the “Liri Blues” and the “Narcao Blues”, along with the “Scott Henderson Band”. Here, performing with the Atlanta vocalist Costance Foster, they were well appreciated not only by the public but also by the American musicians.

In 1998, they were recognized as one of the real blues bands in Italy: a band that is open to the modern times that always maintains unity that only the 70’s Power Trios had got.
