He joined the group in 1995 and immediately became an “irreplaceable guy” mostly because of the atmosphere he brings together with himself, everywhere,, especially during the concerts. His eclectism allows him to pass smoothly from Swing to Rhythm’Blues, and to rock performances.

His special characteristic is a personal, fanciful, powerful drumming. Thanks to his musical experience (from the late ‘70s), he plays an important role as a composer too.
….talkin’ about Capello is very hard, after some hours you surely forgot some aspects.
Cap start in the 70s playing in popular music’s and dance bands, just to buy instruments. He played also with Claudio Villa (a true melodic Italian myth) in a country party. He’s always been also a big fun of progressive-rock, in particularly Italian prog, and he create "Il Quadrante di Andromeda" a short-life band but very appreciated in the Pisa area.

He left the drums after only two years and he starts several different jobs, keep on in music just a composer. He open the frequencies of one of the Italian first pirate-free-radio. Radio Gong will have a short-life but enough to remain in the local history. In the meantime he write some satiric comedies for other radios. He buy a new drum-set fallin’ in love for Bonzo Bonham and Led Zeppelin, playin with a simple technique but with big feeling.
After some years his rapport with the music became a fundamental part of his life and in the 1987 he start to play with MACBENDE Blues Band & Rock many (hundreds) gigs in all the Italy and Switzerland, deviding the experience with his friend and bass player Lupo and Marco Feda Bellagamba on the harmonica. He keep on writing music and, as a joke, he records a satiric tape ( "Bibodi Bibodi") with an incredible success in the demential-rock circuit.

After Macbende’s experience, he start an experience as a singer with hard rock band Amalgama and as drummer with other bands (Sassi di Sand Creeck, Carcinacci, La Masnada).
In 1995 he became drummer for the HOTEL LA SALLE (a new meeting with the old friends Lupo and Feda and with a new friend Oscar Bauer. The rest is History!
Capello give his own definition about himself as “sunday-drummer”, he likes to desecrate the proffessionism, giving’ the main importance at “to have fun”.
He still likes to play in the 70s way, and he loves over all his fantastic UFIP cymbals!
He recently start an experience with a personal label (Mattolini Music) producing records on sale in the web.
