Prabhat is a double original show with a collective ending where the five artists performed together. Prabhat is also a new cd recorded in Tuscany by those fabulous Italian and Nepalese musicians. The project comes by an idea of the renowned bassist Andrea Lupo Lupi and is one of the most interesting and high quality performance of the 2005



The show is born by the meeting between two of the more renowned Italian musicians and tree of the best Nepalese musicians; Oscar Bauer è unanimously respected as one of the true talents of italian acustic guitar, and a master of slide technique; he works by several years with the bass playes and singer Andrea Lupo Lupi, another absolute relief artistic talent wellknowed in Italy. With their acoustic duo they create a sound rhythmically perfect and e harmonically complete as you cannot believe that it be caused by just two instruments.

Sukarma is a combination os some of the best nepalese musicians, they probably are the most talented and innovative group playing classical and folk music in Nepal today. They have been travelling and playing in Europe, Usa, Japan and India

Oscar was born in Neaples, one of the eminent places central to european and mediterranean music. Since 1992 he lives in Toscana. He is recognized as one of the best acoustic guitarist in Italy, knowed for his cultivated modern chitarism of high quality and particulary appreciated for his exceptional slide and fingertechnic. He’s also endorser for various famous guitar’s label.

Andrea Lupo Lupi is not only well appreciated as composer and singer but he also is a well knowed bass players and nominated between “the 4 best Italian blues bass player 2002”.Andrea has a profound knowledge of the world of arts, collecting experiences in several countries in Europe and States

Sukarma is a combination os some of the best nepalese musicians, they probably are the most talented and innovative group playing classical and folk music in Nepal today. They have been travelling and playing in Europe, Usa, Japan and India.

Sitar maestro Dhrubesh Chandra Regmi comes from one of the great music families of Nepal, his grandfather was the first to popularise the sitar in that country; he's also winner of many musical awards, also in India, and became Doctor in Philosophy and History of Music at the Delhi University.

Atul Prasad Gautam was one of the most distinguished tabla players of Nepal, recipient of several awards including gold medal and Master's Degree in Music in Allahabad, India, first place in National Radio Competition for Tabla; he also recorded with a lot great Indian musicians as the sitarist Uma Shankar Mishra and more…

Shyam Nepali started his musical education at the age of eight with his grandfather; now is recognized as one of the most instrumentalist of Nepal, playing all over the world. His way to play sarangi reflects the typical Nepali style, meloudious and touchy to the heart.

After the death of our beloved friend Atul (Jan 05), the new and actual tabla player is Pramod Upadhyaya.
Pramod is a talented tabla player who is a well known percussionist and a popular singer He started learning with his father a renowned tabla player Pt. Hom Nath Upadhyaya. He had also an opportunity to spend some time in Bombay, India learning with Ustad Zakir Hussain. His first public performance in Nepal as a Tabla Soloist was at the age of 5 in the auditorium of Royal Nepal Academy in front of Late King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah. His first abroad tour was for the German Unification Day in Germany. In 1995 he performed for Nepal Festival in Lausanne, Switzerland,France, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, Uzbekistan (world music competition), Korea, Pakistan (SAARC Summit) and India. Pramod is affiliated with Sukarma since last 5 years and at present joined as a permanent member of the group
